Teenage and adult-sized bicycles needed by South Lake Tahoe homeless advocacy program

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Bicycles in working condition are needed by the homeless and foster youth program in South Lake Tahoe so teen students and some parents can get to work and back this summer.

Since the bikes would be used by teenagers or older, no small youth-sized bikes are needed at this time.

Anyone with a working bike can get in contact with Amanda Hammond, Homeless and Foster Youth Advocate with Lake Tahoe Unified School District at ahammond@ltusd.org. Bikes can also be delivered to her office at the Al Tahoe School Site, 1100 Lyons Ave., South Lake Tahoe between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday-Friday all month. She can also be reached by text or phone at 530-525-2410.

Please, working bikes only.
