Historic Dangberg Ranch volunteer opportunities

Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park is looking for volunteers interested in helping with seasonal events, gardening, and to be ranch house docents.

The park’s 2021 Summer Festival features a kite flying weekend, concerts, Chautauquas, and guest speakers. Assisting during these events allows volunteers to enjoy events free of charge.

Gertrude’s Garden and flower beds surrounding the park’s historic buildings are always in need of attention as the seasonal flowers grow and bloom.

The historic ranch house is open Tuesday through Sunday afternoons for guests to visit. Having a docent to welcome park visitors helps to enhance their experience.

Very little training is involved and new volunteers will be paired with seasoned ones to learn all that is necessary.

Anyone interested in more information on our volunteer opportunities is invited to contact the park at 775-783-9417 or email events@dangberghomeranch.org.
