Music in the Castle at Vikingsholm

Experience Emerald Bay and Vikingsholm Castle in a new and delightful way when the Sierra State Parks Foundation holds Music In The Castles on Saturday, July 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Drive down to the castle for this private concert inside the castle. Enjoy a twilight reception in the courtyard with wine and hors d'oeuvres.

Musicians for the evening are John Metras, Paul DaSilva, Noreen Valdes, and Dr. David Nelson featuring an eclectic program of music from Baroque to Latin. Pianist Paul DaSilva will play the custom six-legged 1929 Steinway piano, including classical works from Norway. Vocalist Noreen Valdes will entertain with songs from Broadway to popular. John Metras is a nationally known player of the cross-strung harp, as well as a fine guitarist. Dr. Nelson will join his colleagues on both the violin and guitar.

The cost is $100 per person and seating is limited to 30 guests. Reservations are required and can be made here.
