One injured after rollover crash near Zephyr Cove

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - The Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol Division were kept busy this past weekend with crashes around Lake Tahoe.

On Saturday, July 16, troopers were called to US50 between Skyland and Zephyr Cove at approximately 2:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a brown Jeep had sideswiped three parked cars and then rolled over.

The driver was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

US50 was closed as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

The State Police do not have an update on injuries and said it is unknown at this time if impairment is suspected.

Due to the heavy number of calls at that time, troopers were unable to get someone cleared to go to the hospital and get an update.

No other information is available at this time.
