SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Momentum is a story of resilience, vulnerability, and sacrifice in the face of life’s most insurmountable challenges. This documentary film is about locals, by locals, and the South Lake Tahoe community is invited to its screening at Lake Tahoe Community College on Saturday, August 6.
“Know when to pick your battles”- But, what happens when the fights pick us?
Life will always be looking for challenges to throw at you, and for the main characters, Chris "Coco" Cocores and Ryan Wallace, this is especially so. Faced with some of life’s most unforgiving hurdles, these two are born fighters. Filmmaker Michelle Aguilar of Small Pumpkin Productions followed Chris and Ryan as they met those challenges head-on. Michelle joined up with another South Lake Tahoe resident, cinematographer Lane Powe, to create Momentum.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the screening starting at 6:30 p.m. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Chris, Ryan, and the filmmakers. Visit HERE to purchase tickets.
There is still an opportunity for residents, businesses, and corporations, to financially support the film as it makes its journey through film festivals and to the big screen. Donate HERE or visit Michelle's website, http://www.smallpumpkin.com/.
