Event Date:
July 25, 2023 - 7:00pm

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Historical Society (LTHS) will be hosting another one of its Tahoe History Talks on the Beach on Tuesday, July 25 from 7 pm. - 8 p.m. It will be a Stroll Down Memory Lane, an assembly of "seasoned" locals who lived the history of our past at Lake Tahoe.

All summer long LTHS has been hosting the free talks at Lakeview Commons in South Lake Tahoe. There are two remaining - July 25 and August 1!.

In celebration of the LTHS 55th anniversary, they will publish a book called "55 Voices" later this year. This book will be full of interviews that were done with 55 residents from the past and present who have called the South Shore home for decades.

On Tuesday, some of those from the book will be sharing their stories in a panel-type presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.

On August 1, the final Tahoe History Talks on the Beach will feature Toogee Sielsch on the history of the black bear at Lake Tahoe.

Lakeview Commons is located at the corner of Lakeview Avenue and Lake Tahoe Boulevard.
