Dry, warm week ahead for South Lake Tahoe

There will be widespread haze around Lake Tahoe this weekend as smoke from the Carr Fire near Redding and the Ferguson Fire near Yosemite comes into the Basin. Even with the resulting hazy skies, the air quality has remained in the "good" range with a current AQI of 15 on Saturday morning.
Prolonged heat will affect the region well into next week with highs above 100 degrees in Western Nevada and above 85 near the Sierra. There will be increased winds each afternoon and early evening Wednesday through Friday.
Forecast from the National Weather Service in Reno:
Today - Widespread haze. Sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight - Widespread haze. Mostly clear, with a low around 45. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light southwest in the evening.
Sunday - Widespread haze. Sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 48. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Monday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 49.
Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 87.
Tuesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 46.
Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 86.
Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 44.
Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 86.
Thursday Night - Clear, with a low around 45.
Friday - Sunny, with a high near 85.
