SLT Rotary holds BBQ, Beer & Beats Festival

Event Date:
August 27, 2016 - 2:00pm

Food, drink and music are the theme at the inaugural BBQ, Beer and Beats Festival in South Lake Tahoe on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe has replaced their annual car raffle with a new way to support local projects, organizations and student scholarships at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course. Enjoy BBQ, samples of beer, music featuring RedNeck Quartet, and tunes played by members of South Tahoe's Ukelele Club.

Tickets $45 advance purchase ($50 at door), $10 youth (ages 6-20), 5 and under free.

Currently, the Rotarians support Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, SOS Outreach, South Tahoe Swim Club, RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) Rotary Youth Exchange, H.E.R.O., Sugar Pine Foundation, Tahoe Youth & Family Services, South Tahoe High Sports Connection, Bread and Broth, Sawmill Pond (restocking and maintenance) and many more hands-on projects. Through fundraising efforts like the BBQ, Beer and Beats Festival, they can continue to support numerous needs in the community.

Tickets to the event include coupons for several local businesses. People unable to attend can still support the Rotary club and get the sheet of coupons for just $25.
