Help decide what Regan Beach will look like in the future

The City of South Lake Tahoe wants to hear what the public wants to see at Regan Beach in the future. As part of Recreation Master Plan the city is answering the requests of residents and visitors who would like to see improved public access to beaches.
What this is going to look like starts with the input from residents at the City sponsored planning meeting which will be held at Regan Beach on Tuesday, August 12 starting at 5:30 p.m.
The team from the City will start off the evening with an explanation as to why the plan is being developed. Attendees will break off into smaller groups and take a tour of existing highlights of the park, enjoy food and drinks provided by Lighthouse Café and share ideas of what would best work in the city owned area.
Funding is available for design and engineering of a project. Once the engineering is done the City can move forward in getting construction money, especially where water quality improvements are involved.
This is the perfect opportunity to share your ideas for the future of South Lake Tahoe recreation.
