Sir Rod Stewart postpones Lake Tahoe concert

STATELINE, Nev. - Sir Rod Stewart canceled his August 9 show at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Lake Tahoe, just a few hours before showtime. On his Instagram account, a statement put to rest rumors that have been circulating since the singer canceled his 200th show in Las Vegas earlier in the week due to strep throat.

According to Instagram, Sir Rod Stewart canceled both his Lake Tahoe show and his August 10 Lincoln, Calif. show due to a "summer strain of COVID-19."

Hi Thunder Valley Casino show will now be on August 18 and his concert at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys is moved to August 20. Ticket holders should hold on to their tickets as they will be honored for the rescheduled shows.
