Fundraiser for Tahoe Paws and TLC 4 Furry Friends

The community animal response team that has helped countless pets to be reunited with their owners is holding a fundraiser to help support their efforts.

Tahoe Paws and TLC 4 Furry Friends are holding a fundraiser at Casey's on Thursday, August 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a silent auction, raffles, food, drinks, swag, and music from Ditch Weed Harvest.

The event is free and things purchased and funds donated during the evening support the group that doesn't hesitate to help with animal search and rescue throughout the Lake Tahoe area, and beyond. This fundraiser is also to support the Community Animal Response Team, which helps with emergencies and disasters, as well as evacuation planning. The team was in charge of the pet evacuation site for the Caldor Fire at the Gardnerville Recreation Center. Without the public’s support, the non-profit wouldn’t be able to provide these services.

Casey's is located at 212 Elk's Point Road at Round Hill, next to Safeway.
