Win a new car at Tahoe Douglas Rotary’s Charity Cup Golf Tournament

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club is hosting its Charity Cup Tournament and Helicopter Golf Ball Drop this Sunday, September 17 at Lake Tahoe Golf Course. Enjoy a day on the course with a chance to win a new Toyota!
The donation for golfers to play in the 1:30 start Scramble is $175 per person or $650 for a foursome team. Golfers are welcome to join in all the event’s activities including the longest drive and closest to the pin competitions. Jim Bagan’s Tahoe Toyota Dealership is sponsoring their Hole in One Challenge and the winner drives home with a new Toyota.
“What a fun way to wrap up this Tahoe summer," says Tim Williams, president of Tahoe Douglas Rotary.
Golfers will also receive a box lunch, a surprise swag bag, and an end-of-day weenie roast and awards happy hour at the 19th hole. The grand finale of the tournament will be the exciting Helicopter Golf Ball Drop raffle. Buy a ball and the closest ball to the hole after being dropped from the helicopter will win a week’s stay on the Big Island of Hawaii and $500 for traveling expenses.
"And we’ll have lots more prizes and awards for the day's activities,” said Williams.
Tahoe Douglas Rotary has been an annual proactive supporter of a number of community service nonprofits including Tahoe Youth & Family Services, the Boys and Girls Club, Bread and Broth, Tahoe Arts Project, Douglas County Search & Rescue, and many others including student scholarships.
