Free face masks and hand sanitizer for Tahoe’s small businesses

One of priorities established by the Tahoe Prosperity Center (TPC) during the pandemic has been to help local businesses find ways to affordably obtain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Through its participation in the El Dorado County Business Protection Workgroup, TPC has been able to help businesses find funding and develops plans to stay open through the impacts of COVID-19. They now have been able to procure the PPE needed to meet safety guidelines, protect employees and customers, and stay open for business.

Thanks to a state grant from California Office of Emergency Services, and through joint efforts with El Dorado County and the City of South Lake Tahoe, TPD is providing free masks and hand sanitizer to local small business owners (under 25 employees) based in El Dorado County.

Over the next two weeks, and while supplies last, small business owners are invited to drive through the South Tahoe Airport on any of the dates and times listed below.
