Dr. David Borges to teach Lake Tahoe history workshop at LTCC this fall

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Dr. David Borges will be teaching a Lake Tahoe History workshop this fall at Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC). Learn about the history of the area from its geologic formation and first inhabitants through its 19th and 20th century developments. Events both inside and outside the basin will be studied for their impact on the region.
The workshop will include concurrent United States, California, and Nevada historical events in which Tahoe was involved. Participants will have a thorough understanding of Tahoe History to share with visitors, friends, and families that visit our area.
Dates of class: Thursdays, September 28, October 5, October 12, October 26, November 2, November 9
