Welcome Fall Witch Paddle Boarding

It's time to get witchy on the water in South Lake Tahoe on October 1. Grab your board and your witch outfit, and head over to Timber Cove Marina at 2 p.m.
Organizer Kelsey Adams presented the idea of paddle boarding in costume to her friends, and 50 of them immediately wanted to join the fun, so she created a Facebook event.
"Since I made the event public and told friends to share and invite their friends, I was shocked that by the next morning there were over 350 people wanting to attend," said Kelsey. "Then the number skyrocketed again when it was shared in Reno and Sacramento event pages. Now, with a little over a week from the event, there are over 1,000 people wanting to attend!"
With growing interest, Kelsey has made goodie bags for the first 30 kids who attend and has put together a gift basket for Best Costume. Inside the basket is over $150 in prizes from local places and people.
After fun on the water, there will be an after-party at The Turn for adults, and families can head into Grand Central Pizza which is located in the same complex.
"Super excited to hopefully make this an annual thing," said Adams.
People have been invited to kayak as well but will stay farther out so as not to disturb the SUP people. By standards are highly encouraged to dress up too. Everyone is welcome!
