Tourism professionals from Brazil and England heading to South Lake Tahoe

Two professional travel and tourism groups are headed to South Lake Tahoe September 28-30 as part of Visit California and Travel Nevada's highlight of what both states have to offer to the foreign tourist.

Reno-Tahoe Territory and Travel Nevada, will host 150 travel trade professionals from Brazil. When they head to South Lake Tahoe, the group will be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. While i town, the group will be treated to a private reception at Vinyl and dinner at Fire Break, hosted in part by Heavenly Mountain Resort, breakfast at the Hard Rock Café, and a property tour and complimentary sightseeing cruise to Emerald Bay aboard the M.S. Dixie II compliments of Zephyr Cove Resort.

The Visit California SuperFAM is bringing 12 travel trade professionals from the United Kingdom to town with a focus on outdoor adventure. They will be offered a fishing charter courtesy of Tahoe Sport Fishing, boat rentals from Ski Run Boat Rentals, an evening with Lake Tahoe Paint & Sip Studio, and paddleboard rentals from South Tahoe Standup Paddle. They will be staying at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel and Basecamp Hotel and dining with Blue Angel Cafe.

The Lake Tahoe Visitor's Authority (LTVA) promotes the South Shore, and they do this through media, advertising and working with travel agents from around the world. FAM trips give those agents a taste of what it's like to visit in South Lake Tahoe. They can then take this knowledge back home and be able to better sell a Lake Tahoe vacation.
