LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - Three-time Grammy Award nominees The Avett Brothers are heading to Lake Tahoe on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 with special guest Charles Wesley Godwin. Presale ticket sales start on October 3, 2024, at 10 a.m., with general sales starting Friday on Ticketmaster.
The Avett Brothers combine bluegrass, country, punk, pop melodies, folk, rock and roll, indie rock, honky tonk, and ragtime to produce a novel sound described by the San Francisco Chronicle as having the "heavy sadness of Townes Van Zandt, the light pop concision of Buddy Holly, the tuneful jangle of the Beatles, the raw energy of the Ramones."
Brothers Scott and Seth Avett and their band made mainstream waves with their critically acclaimed 2009 major label debut, I And Love And You. In 2012, The Carpenter hit #4 on the Billboard Top 200, followed by Magpie And The Dandelion in 2013, which debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200.
