El Dorado County Area 5 Supervisor Sue Novasel will be hosting a community meeting on October 15, at 6:00 p.m., at the City of South Lake Tahoe Council Chambers, located at 1901 Airport. Road, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. The public is encouraged to attend.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to gather and give input on subjects and concerns important to them,” says Novasel. “Community input is key to our improvement.”
Join Supervisor Novasel to offer input to improve county services and identify priorities at Lake Tahoe.
The County of El Dorado recently took their strategic planning process to the streets by asking community members about county services and community priorities.
“This is important information that I want to collect from residents in District V”, says Supervisor Sue Novasel. “This is a critical step in finding out how to deliver services to our communities, what are people’s priorities, and it allows us a way to find out how the county is doing in providing these services.”
A Citizen Engagement Survey is now available at any El Dorado County Library and other locations by calling 530-621-5628, or online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ElDoradoCitizens
As part of this 3-year county strategic planning process that will be implemented in the coming months, each County Board of Supervisors member will be conducting a ‘town hall’ style community meeting so that residents can learn more about the survey process, take the survey and be a part of focus group discussions.
