Free Plant-Based Seminar and Tasting Event at Lake Tahoe Presbyterian Church

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church will present a Plant-Based Seminar and Tasting Event in the church Family room on Saturday, October 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no charge for the Event, however, an opportunity to donate to the Deacon’s Fund will be offered.

This seminar will include practical, understandable, and enlightening information. Learn WHY plant-based eating is “Good for the Environment and Great for your Health.” The spectrum of plant-based eating patterns will be explained with a focus on our environment and our health. Biblical support will be presented for “Caring for the Earth.” There will also be time for questions!

Recipes, resources for further exploration, and sample tastings will be included. This event is made possible through the Care for the Earth Committee of the Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church. Presenters are Greg and Jean Bergner.

Registration is required for this event so that we can accommodate everyone in our space and so that we have enough food. Registration will close on October 23.
