Soroptimist of Tahoe Sierra awarding $2,000 to each Live Your Dream award winners

- Is motivated to achieve your education and career goals.
- Has not previously been the recipient of a Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity or Live Your Dream Award.
- Does not have a graduate degree.
- Is not a Soroptimist member, an employee of Soroptimist International of the Americas or immediate family of either.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra Club (SITS) of South Lake Tahoe is giving $2,000 awards to local women who continuing their education while providing the primary financial support for themselves and their family
The qualified candidate for this award, called the Live Your Dream Award:
- Provides the primary financial support for yourself and your dependents. - - Dependents can include children, spouse, partner, siblings and/or parents.
- Is enrolled in or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program.
- Is motivated to achieve your education and career goals.
- Has not previously been the recipient of a Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity or Live Your Dream Award.
- Does not have a graduate degree.
- Is not a Soroptimist member, an employee of Soroptimist International of the Americas or immediate family of either.

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women program has been helping women around the world since 1972. This program provides cash grants to women who are working to better their lives through additional schooling and skills training.
South Lake Tahoe selected candidates are awarded $2,000 each and are entered into the regional and international awards which are $5,000 and $10,000, respectively.
