The El Dorado Community Foundation has announced the opening of the Caldor Fire Recovery Grant Application for nonprofits. This grant is open to all nonprofits serving El Dorado County who are specifically working to help residents and communities recover from the losses and trauma of the Caldor Fire.

The Foundation challenges all to think creatively and outside the lane normally occupied by program services, to address any one of the topics below:
• Housing

• Childhood development and wellness
• Youth Development
• Organizational development of emerging community organizations
• Older Adult Services
• Mental Health and Wellness
• Environmental Recovery Projects
• Community based activities

This application has been made possible by all the folks who have so generously donated to the Caldor Fire Relief Fund this past month.  The application will be open until 5:00 p.m. on November 10.
