Join UC Davis for a virtual lecture on the Impacts of Wildfire Smoke on Human Health with Kent Pinkerton, Ph.D. on Thursday, October 29 at 12:00 p.m.
UC Davis scientists are conducting research to study the impact of wildfire smoke and ash on human health. Dr. Kent Pinkerton, an expert in air pollution and its effect on respiratory health, will present information about how particles and gasses that are generated from wildfires can create unhealthy conditions and symptoms. Learn about short-term and long-term health effects and recommendations for your level of activity in various air conditions (AQI) and where to find this information.
