Temps into the 70s for most of the week at Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Warm fall days continue the week ahead with potential for near-record highs from the middle into the end of the work week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno. Breezy conditions Monday afternoon and evening with a 10-15 percent chance for showers, mainly near the Oregon border. Outside of Monday, the usual afternoon breezes can be expected. More typical fall conditions return next weekend, with possible cooler weather the following week.

The weekly forecast for South Lake Tahoe from NWS Reno:

Monday - Increasing clouds, with a high near 72. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Monday Night - Widespread haze between 8 pm and 10 pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low of around 40. South wind 5 to 15
mph.

Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 71. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low of around 40. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming southeast after midnight.

Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 75. East wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low of around 43.

Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 77.

Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low of around 43.

Friday- Sunny, with a high near 74.

Friday Night - Mostly clear, with a low of around 41.
