Alpine Sierra Speaker Series: Washoe Language and Cultural Resilience

ALPINE COUNTY, Calif. - The next evening of the Alpine Sierra Speaker Series
will be held on Thursday, October 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Turtle Rock Park Community Center.
Herman Fillmore, the culture and language resources director of the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California, will be speaking on "Washoe Language and Cultural Resilience."
The free talk is open to all.
The community center is located at 17300 State Route 89, Markleeville, Calif.
