Lake Tahoe Historical Society hosts popular Giant Snowflake Making days

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Lake Tahoe Historical Society (LTHS) is hosting two days of its Giant Paper Flake Making classes at 10 a.m. on October 23 and 24. Learn how to make the paper flake from one of many patterns available. Each participant will make two or more flakes, with one of them to take home, and the others to stay in the museum.
All flakes made for the museum will be hanging from the museum's ceiling during the holidays and available for purchase!
The cost to participate is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
Class sizes are limited and reservations are required. Stop by the museum on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to sign up, or call the museum to pay with a credit card - 530.541-5458.
The classes start at 10 a.m. and wrap up around 1 p.m. Bring your favorite sharp scissors and the rest of the supplies are provided.
