Humane Society hosts Fall Speaker Series - Why Trail Manners Matter

Event Date:
October 24, 2023 - 5:30pm

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (HSTT) is holding its first Adult Fall Speaker Series seminar on the South Shore. These presentations are set up for community members 12 years or older.

The first speaker is Kelly Lee, a local certified professional dog trainer, and owner of Dogkind® Training.

The public is invited to join them on Tuesday, October 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at HSTT's South Lake location, 3438 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Kelly will be discussing Why Trail Manners Matter: a useful conversation on basic trail etiquette for your dog, suggestions to implement better behavior on the trail, and tips that could help when dealing with other dogs and their owners on the trail.

The goal of HSTT is to help the audience gain a better understanding of dogs in general and be able to use some of these tools with their own pets at home. Guests are welcome and they hope to have a good turnout for the inaugural speaker.

The event is free but there is a suggested donation of $10 to attend. Please park in the large lot on the East side of the building.
