Submitted by paula on Thu, 10/23/2014 - 9:34pm
South Lake Tahoe residents will have a chance to see the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors in action on Tuesday, October 28 as they have their meeting on the east slope.
Many topics pertaining to the South SHore will be on the agenda.
The South Lake Tahoe Parks, Trails and Recreation Master Plan will be presented by a consultant team. A vote will then be taken on whether to approve the plan and start the environmental review process. Those costs would be split with the City of South Lake Tahoe.
A workshop on the Meyers Area Plan will also be held during Tuesday's meeting. They'll review the results of last Thursday's Planning Commission meeting with recommended revisions and associated public comments. The Supervisors can either ask for another workshop or vote to adopt the draft plan and move forward with environmental review.
During the lunch break, Supervisors will meet at the Flight Deck with Pete Sontag and Andrew Strain of Heavenly Mountain Resort who will be giving a presentation to the Supervisors about their new Epic Discovery project.
The meeting will be held in the South Lake Tahoe City Council Chambers at 9 a.m.
