Stormy Tuesday expected in South Lake Tahoe with more weather systems on the horizon

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Winter Storm Watch was delayed a few hours, and is not in place from noon on November 1 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2.
A strong cold front is bringing gusty winds today and chances for mountain snow and valley showers through early Thursday. Temperatures will begin to cool today with some of the coldest air of the season Wednesday through Thursday. Mild conditions return Friday into the weekend, with additional chances for precipitation.
The weekly forecast from South Lake Tahoe from the National Weather Service in Reno:
Today - Rain likely between noon and 3pm, then rain and snow. Snow level 6600 feet. High near 48. Windy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight - Snow, possibly mixed with rain before 9pm, then a chance of snow. Low around 16. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Wednesday - A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. Southwest wind around 10 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday Night - A chance of snow before midnight, then a chance of snow showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 10. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
