City of South Lake Tahoe and Lake Tahoe Historical Society host 2nd annual Festival of Winter Lights

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - What turned out to be the holiday event of the season, the Festival of Winter Lights returns to South Lake Tahoe Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10.

The City of South Lake Tahoe, In partnership with the Lake Tahoe Historical Society, is holding the two-night event that will feature music, singing, dancing, sleigh rides, the Christmas Fire Truck, light displays, local vendors, food and drink, tours of the museum and cabin, and of course, Santa!

Nightly from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., join in the fun in the area of the museum, senior center, art league, and recreation center. Parking will be at the recreation center or along Rufus Allen Blvd. Parking is limited. Please carpool or consider taking a free Lake Link shuttle to and from the event. In the spirit of holiday giving, please bring a new unwrapped toy and drop it off at the Toys for Tots booth.
