2nd annual Friendsgiving celebrates strength in diversity

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Lake Tahoe Community College’s Equity and Student Wellness Program and Ally Club, along with Lake Tahoe Pride, extend a warm and open invitation to community members for a 2nd annual Friendsgiving dinner event on Wednesday, November 20. The dinner is from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Student Center at Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC).

Enjoy a holiday dinner, conversation and connection, and tabletop games. While admission and dinner are free, several attendee participation options are available including potluck contributions (appetizers, sides, and desserts encouraged), pantry/toiletry and new winter hat/glove donations to LTCC’s Basic Needs Center, as well as raffle ticket purchases ($5 per ticket or five tickets for $20).

Wonderful raffle prizes are being collected from generous local businesses, and raffle proceeds help fund the Lake Tahoe Pride Equality scholarship, which currently awards $1000 to two LTCC students annually.
