Lake Tahoe Historical Society and City of South Lake Tahoe host Festival of Winter Lights

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Join the City of South Lake Tahoe and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society for the inaugural Festival of Winter Lights Friday, December 10 through Sunday, December 12.

The middle of South Lake Tahoe will be turned into an outdoor winter wonderland with beautiful lights, an outdoor market, and a full list of fun activities for all ages.

Beginning on Friday, December 10, the SLT Parks and Recreation Department and the Lake Tahoe Historical Society are kicking off a family-friendly winter celebration to bring the community back together, celebrate the area's history, welcome winter, and shop for the holidays.

The multi-day event will be staged in the parking lot of the museum located at 3058 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Event parking will be at the Recreation Center (1180 Rufus Allen Blvd).
