Over 200 enjoy Community Thanksgiving Dinner with Bread & Broth

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Over 200 dinners were served at the annual Bread & Broth Community Thanksgiving dinner.

A traditional meal was served, seconds and “to go” dinners were also provided, and food giveaway bags were handed out as well.

Thanks to the South Lake Tahoe community, Bread & Broth received over $6,000 in cash donations for the dinners and food bags, and Smart & Final provided pies, Hard Rock Hotel Casino provided rolls and utensils, and Safeway gave the non-profit gift certificate to help with the purchase food.

Bread & Broth provides two hot meals a week to the community, the Monday Night meal at St. Theresa Church and Friday night Second Serving meals at Lake Tahoe Presbyterian Church.
