Tahoe casinos "win" figure $19.73 million in November

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,374,350,070 for November 2023, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board's monthly report released Thursday. This amounts to a 12.56 percent increase compared to the same month a year ago when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,220,945,367. For the fiscal year to date (since July), the gaming win has increased by 4.74 percent with $6,572,928,432 in "win".

The "gaming win" represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.

For Lake Tahoe's south shore, the "win" revenue was $18,089,918, down 7.98 percent from November 2022's $19,658,939. For their fiscal year, revenue win is down by 6.37 percent as compared to the previous period. The South Shore fiscal year win to date is $119,418,262.

On the south shore, $3,997,000 came from table games and $14,093,000 from slots.

Carson Valley area casinos reported an $11,071,577 gaming win, up 9.21 percent. On the North Shore, the reported gaming win of $1,639,925 was down 8.16 percent.

Casinos in Reno, Sparks, and other areas of Washoe County saw gaming-related revenue increase over the last year collectively by 2.08 percent with a "win" of $80,920,632.

Las Vegas/Clark County casinos had a "win" of $1,214,943,320, up 14.34 percent over the same month last year.

For the fiscal year to date, Nevada has collected $499,462,259 in percentage fees.
