January 11, 2020 - 2:00pm The Tahoe Art Walk steps into 2020 with earlier hours for your local art excursion. This fun and free self-guided tour of South Shore art venues each Second Saturday of the month spans from Stateline to the Y and beyond. Immerse yourself in local culture apres ski. Enjoy art exhibits, events, and artist receptions for a wide range of artistic styles and media. Make new friends by participating in specially priced art classes and workshops.

Skiers and boarders hit the slopes for opening day at Heavenly

Friday was opening day at Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe, and if the crowds that hit the slopes is any indication, the weekend will be a busy one. The ski resort has been busy making snow since the Mother Nature variety has been lacking so far this season.
The resort is reporting an 18" base.
Heavenly Village was full of skiers, riders and families all day. The outdoor dining areas at Base Camp Pizza and Gun Barrel Tavern were busy for lunch and apres ski activities.
Nashville Indie Folk-Rock Duo "You Knew Me When" to Perform at Himmel Haus

January 25, 2014 - 3:30pm After uprooting from their Nashville home and full-time jobs in June of 2012, the husband and wife duo You Knew Me When set plans to tour the nation for a full year…however, they never stopped. Since that time they have been serving up their craft brewed compositions coast to coast throughout the USA and into Canada, released their first studio album “You, Me, and the Rest of the World”, and have done so as a fully independent entity. Now 18 Months into their ongoing tour, the duo makes a South Lake Tahoe stop on January 25th at the Himmel Haus.
