Heavenly OPENING Weekend Events

Opening Day is just days away at Heavenly Lake Tahoe and the anticipation is the palpable here at the mountain. All teams and crews are gearing up for your arrival!

Opening day access to the mountain, and until further notice, will be via the Gondola in the Heavenly Village. From there, Tamarack Express will access California Trail, Tamarack Return and Ante Up Terrain Park. Snowmaking has moved on to Orion’s and Big Dipper Runs and with the incoming cold front and storm, we anticipate having them open soon!

There will be plenty to celebrate this weekend, so as soon as you’ve made those first turns of the season, be prepared for non-stop action late into the evening/morning. Here’s a brief rundown of Opening Weekend events:

Friday, November 18th:
9am-4pm Skiing and riding at Heavenly
3:30pm-5:30pm Après Ski at the Tamarack Lodge with drink and food specials, DJs, Heavenly Angels
6pm-11pm Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation annual Ski and Snowboard swap at MontBleu
7:30pm Warren Miller Entertainment’s film premiere “…Like There’s No Tomorrow” at MontBleu Theater
10pm After parties at Opal hosted by Heavenly and at Blu hosted by the Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation; both venues inside of MontBleu

Saturday, November 19th:
8:30am-4pm Skiing and riding at Heavenly
10am-5pm – Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation annual Ski and Snowboard swap at MontBleu
3:30p-5:30pm Apres Ski at the Tamarack Lodge with drink/food specials, djs, Heavenly Angels
5:30pm “Rail Assault” Rail Jam at the Ice Skating Rink at 1176 Rufus Allen Blvd.
7:30pm Warren Miller Entertainment’s film premiere “…Like There’s No Tomorrow” at MontBleu Theater
10pm After party at Opal hosted by Heavenly inside of MontBleu
