Kick Off Summer at Meyers Solstice Celebration June 23

On Sat. June 23 Meyers will host a Summer Solstice Celebration from 2-6 pm at 3170 Highway 50. This family-centered event is designed to bring together the healing, artistic, and recreational cultures of the Lake Tahoe Basin in a community street fair. Activities will include a parade, live music, art cars, food, children’s recreation and booths featuring local artists and healers. The celebration is free and open to the public.

Lake Tahoe Home & Garden Show at Lake Tahoe Community College April 27-28

The Lake Tahoe Home and Garden Show, presented by Golden Bear Events, will be held in the Physical Education Gymnasium at Lake Tahoe Community College. The show will be Friday, April 27 from 4 pm to 8 pm; and Saturday, April 28, from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency announced the winners of the Lake Spirit Awards honoring "real people making real progress protecting Lake Tahoe" at their first-ever Community Appreciation Day event held on September 29 at TRPA's office.

Kokanee Salmon Festival continues today

TRPA Announces Community Appreciation Day and Lake Spirit Awards

The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency is hosting a Community Appreciation Day event on Thursday, September 29 from 4 - 7 pm to celebrate the Tahoe Basin community's commitment to protecting Lake Tahoe.

This fun, family event will include bluegrass music by local band, Bison, a free BBQ dinner, activities for the kids, an ice cream social hosted by members of TRPA's Governing Board and Advisory Planning Commission, and demonstration booths explaining TRPA's mission.
