Man survives after jumping out of car going 50 mph in Genoa

A man jumped out of the car he was riding in on Thursday evening after learning his girlfriend wanted to end their relationship.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on March 29, deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) responded to the area of Genoa Lane and Galeppi Lane after it was reported that a man was jumping out of a moving vehicle.
One person airlifted after South Lake Tahoe motorcycle and truck accident

Few details have been released about Sunday evening's accident in South Lake Tahoe that resulted in one person being airlifted to Renown Medical Center in Reno.
The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) received a phone call at 8:26 p.m. on Sunday, July 5 about an accident between a motorcycle and pick-up truck near the Sno-Flake Drive In.
A motorcyclist and his passenger were headed west on Lake Tahoe Blvd near the intersection with Modesto Avenue. A Nissan truck was attempting to make a left-hand turn from Highway 50 onto Modesto when he struck the motorcycle.

One South Lake Tahoe woman was careflighted to Renown Medical Center in Reno on Saturday night after the motorcycle she was a passenger on collided with a truck in Carson City.
The Nevada Highway Patrol(NHP) was called to the scene of a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Roop and Fairview Streets at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 22.
Minden man dies in Pine Nut mountains ATV accident

The accident happened just before 9:30 a.m. on Sunrise Pass Road near Juniper Valley behind the Johnson Lane subdivision in the Pinenut Mountains.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies say the dune buggy, driven by Daniel Palmer, was speeding west on a dirt road when it slid and drifted head on into the path of an oncoming older Ford F-150.
