The South Tahoe High Sober Grad Night Task Force would like to thank the following businesses and individuals who helped make our annual event for the graduating seniors such a success! The kids loved the evening and it couldn't have been made possible if you weren't a part of it.
Humane Society to benefit from "All You Can Eat Chili" fundraiser

The Coyote Grill is hosting a night of chili and fun to benefit the Lake Tahoe Humae Society on Thursday, February 12 from 5 p.m. to closing. Their community favorite, Charity Chili, is just a $3 donation for all you can eat Chili.
For every bowl of chili purchased during the first two hours you get a free raffle ticket. You can also bring in any pet food donation for another free raffle ticket.
Free pet emergency kits will be handed out to attendees from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The Humane Society will have the raffle prize drawing at 7:00 p.m.

There will be a free tennis clinic for all local children at the Zephyr Cove Tennis Club on Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15. The event is being sponsored by the Douglas County Parks and Recreation, Coyote Grill and the tennis club.
The clinic is open to all Lake Tahoe basin kids ages 8 and older.

Coyote Grill Announces Phase One Expansion

Milky Way Incorporated dba Coyote Grill has announced the signing of an Amendment to its lease in Round Hill Square allowing it to more than double the size of its current business model.
Currently occupied by ‘Paradise Nails and Spa,’ Suite 102 is 1684 square feet and will allow the Coyote Grill to begin its long anticipated expansion that will include entertainment, gaming, pizza and varietal coffees and espressos.
KTHO radio enters partnership with Coyote Grill owner

The Coyote Grill will be hosting a Chili Night fundraiser for the Douglas County TRIAD group from 5pm to 10 pm.
TRIAD is a volunteer service organization combining a cooperative agreement between the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, East Fork Fire and Paramedic District and Douglas County senior citizens, committed to enhancing the quality of life for our senior citizens. for more info see the Douglas Co. As demand soars, Christmas Cheer makes plea for help

The Great Recession continues to rear its head here at home, with demands on social services soaring and a genuine fear that South Shore’s food bank won’t be able to provide Christmas dinner for a record number of families in need.
For 30 years, the Christmas Cheer food bank has helped families celebrate Christmas with a traditional dinner of turkey and all the trimmings. However, with 800 families expected to be on the list of those to receive a dinner, the charity has only 75 donated turkeys and five hams to give and organizers say they are beyond being nervous.

The fundraiser runs from 5 to 10 p.m. and costs $1 for a bowl of chili. Twenty percent of the fundraiser will go to Tahoe Magic.
