Disappointed Maddie Bowman falls during halfpipe finals

Maddie Bowman took three spills in PyeongChang during the finals in the halfpipe in freestyle skiing, keeping her off the podium but in the hearts of South Lake Tahoe.

Bowman, the reigning gold medalist, was visibly disappointed in the third fall of the day, staying down on the snow as she received medical attention.

In each run, attempting back-to-back 900s, she fell coming out of the last 900, just moments from the finish. Her runs, tricks and height all looked good until the end.
