Putting a Garden to Bed Workshop at SLT Library

October 6, 2018 - 1:00pm Join the Friends of the Library as we welcome the UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe for an informational program on preparing a garden for the winter. After an inside "how to" session, we'll all head out to the Library's new BB's Garden to have a hands on demonstration. The Friends are looking for volunteers who would like to help maintain the library's garden, so in addition to be a workshop for all who want to learn gardening techniques for our unique Tahoe environment, this afternoon is also a training session for volunteers.

Lake Tahoe Home and Garden Show

April 24, 2015 (All day) The fourth annual Lake Tahoe Home and Garden Show will be held April 24, 2015, from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, and Saturday, April 25, 2015, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Complex and Gym. Vendors will offer information on gardening in Tahoe, furnishings for the home and garden, plants and home decor items, clothing options, toys, and health related information and goods.Attendees can enjoy a variety of food vendors and live music will be available.
Lake Tahoe conservation landscape tour features West Shore gardens

Nine beautiful West Shore gardens and educational talks on conservation landscaping topics highlight the fifth annual Conservation Landscape Tour, one of the signature events produced by the sustainable landscaping experts with the Tahoe Resource Conservation District. Maps for the tour can be picked up on Sunday, August 19 between 1 and 3 pm at the corner of Wilson and Pine Streets in Tahoma, Calif.
