The Valhalla Art, Music and Theatre Festival Opens June 25th

The 2014 Valhalla Art, Music and Theatre Festival begins On Wednesday, June 25th with a concert featuring award winning songwriter and guitar player Ray Bonneville with very special guest Lance Canales and the Flood opening the show.

Up and Coming ZZ Ward Making First Visit to South Lake Tahoe

If you could take Muddy Waters, the Beatles, Tina Turner. David Bowie and Tom Petty, throw in a little Jay Z and mix them all up, you'd come up with a blond 27 year old named ZZ Ward.

After listening to her debut CD, "Til the Casket Drops", I am a new fan. And apparently I am not alone. "The tour has been incredible," Ward told me in a phone interview. "At every venue I'm seeing new fans and it's been a very positive thing to see."

South Lake Tahoe Prepares For SnowGlobe 2013

SnowGlobe 2013 is just over a week away and you can find evidence of the South Lake Tahoe music festival around town.

The fields at Lake Tahoe Community College are being transformed into the largest concert arena for miles around, with three stages being erected as well as warming tents and food operations.
