HeliVertex was recently certified by the FAA to provide charter services for air taxi in addition to their current tours.

The Tahoe Area Coordinating Council for the Disabled is being recognized by area restaurants in celebration of the council's 31 years. Taqueria Jalisco in South Lake Tahoe will host lunch, dinner and recognize TACCD on Oct. 25. Taqueria Jalisco is located at 3097 Harrison Avenue behind Rojos.

The Tahoe Area Coordinating Council for the Disabled is being recognized by area restaurants in celebration of the council's 31 years. Steamers Bar and Grill in South Lake Tahoe will host lunch, dinner and a City Council Candidate's Meet and Greet from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 23.
