The Tahoe Chamber collected 190 nominations from the community for the 13th annual Blue Ribbon Award to celebrate the businesses, non-profits and individuals that make the South Shore of Lake Tahoe so unique. Local businesses have been a resilient backbone of the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and honoring their contributions, achievements and milestones is more important than ever before.

On Saturday, October 28, the public is invited to Ski Run Marina Halloween Trick or Treat from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Get dressed up in a costume and bring not only a bag for treats, but also a non-perishable item for Bread and Broth 4 Kids.

The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (Tahoe Chamber) is holding their annual Blue Ribbon Awards dinner on Thursday, November 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Harrah's Lake Tahoe Ballroom. This gala event honors businesses, organizations, and individuals for civic contributions, tourism experiences, customer service, and entrepreneurial achievements. Movie Night fundraiser to feature the Mob and Godfather

A unique fundraiser in South Lake Tahoe will feature a showing of The Godfather Part II, which was partly filmed in Lake Tahoe, and an opportunity to talk to Meyer Lansky II. Lansky is the grandson of the man known as the "Mob's Accountant," a major organized crime figure who, along with his associate Charles "Lucky" Luciano, was instrumental in the development of the "National Crime Syndicate" who inspired the movie character Hyman Roth.
Full day of South Lake Tahoe activities on tap for Sunday

Visitors and locals alike will find a variety of activities to enjoy in South Lake Tahoe on Sunday, August 31.
The highlight of the day will be the Annual Labor Day Fireworks show. The show features a simultaneous music broadcast that can be heard on local stations KRLT-FM 93.9 and KOWL - AM 1490. Show begins at 8:30 p.m. The fireworks are visible from all over town.
Tahoe Arts Project's Sunset Wine Cruise fundraiser on the Safari Rose

Enjoy an evening on the Safari Rose with Tahoe Arts Project as they have their fall fundraising wine cruise.
On September 18 the boat will leave Round Hill Pines and head over to Emerald Bay for a two hour cruise. Only 50 spots will be sold!
$65 includes wine and appetizers.

The Annual Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Spirit of Spring Fundraiser was held on Tuesday, May 13 at Edgewood Tahoe from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
All proceeds from this evening of food and wine will benefit the local kids -- helping them be great!
Guests were treated to name vintages, cordials and beer for the evening courtesy of Southern Wine and Spirits and appetizers buffet courtesy of Edgewood Tahoe.
Safari Rose Sunset Wine Cruise

Join us aboard the Safari Rose for a fundraiser to benefit the Tahoe Arts Project. From 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15. The event, which begins at the Tahoe Keys Marina, will feature wines and appetizers donated by local businesses. The cost is $55 discounted tickets but you have to hurry though because there are only 50 passenger tickets available. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Tahoe Arts Project, tahoearts@aol.com or by calling (530) 542-3632.
