Kudos: Bread & Broth thanks Liberty Utilities for 2nd Adopt-A-Day

Following their Adopt-A-Day (AAD) of Nourishment sponsorship on August 26, Liberty Utilities sent another great crew on September 2 to assist the Bread & Broth volunteers with another AAD dinner. Just as they provide incredible service to their customers, the Liberty Utilities AAD sponsor crew members, Jennifer Guenther, James Martin, Kate Marrone, Chad Sousa and Kelsey Zieba, also provided the same spirit of service in helping others at their sponsorship dinner.
Marine Marching Band to be in South Lake Tahoe 4th of July parade

The City of South Lake Tahoe is honored to announce the Marine Band San Diego Marching Band will be in the 4th of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4th at 10:00 a.m. The parade will be immediately followed by a celebratory BBQ benefiting local American Legion Post 795 and performances by the Marine Band San Diego. The BBQ and performances will be held at Bijou Community Park located at 1201 Al Tahoe Blvd.
V&T Railroad event combines train ride with concert at Piper's Opera House

The Virginia & Truckee Railroad and Carson Valley Pops Orchestra are rolling out the history with a train ride from Carson City to a luncheon and orchestra performance at Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City on April 29.

CD Release of 'Welcome Back To Markleeville' at Cutthroat Saloon

A portion of the proceeds will go to "The Fund To Stock Trophy Fish" in The Carson River, overseen by Todd Sodaro, owner of The Carson River Resort. The CD will be released on Saturday April 28 Opening Day California Stream Fishing) with a performance at The Cutthroat Saloon inside The Wolf Creek Inn at 7pm that evening.
