July 30, 2021 (All day) The Reno Jazz Orchestra’s (RJO) 17-piece big band will heat up the summer as they perform “Now, Then and Forever – Celebrating Earth, Wind & Fire,” in Reno and Lake Tahoe, NV. Accompanying the RJO are vocalists Lori Johnson, David Wells, Kira McGlothen, Caitlin Collins Martin, and Kandeh Jones who together will present the captivating sounds of soul, funk, jazz, and chart-topping hits such as Shining Star, In the Stone, After the Love Has Gone, September, and many other favorite songs.

Hours on Thursdays for Live at Lakeview Summer Concerts
The Live at Lakeview Summer Music Concert Series begins on Thursday, June 22, 2017. The summer concert series will occur every Thursday beginning on June 22nd to August 31st from 4:30-8:30. On these Thursday’s the boat ramp will open at 8am and close at 1pm. Boats will need to be off the lake by 1pm.

Music lovers on the South Shore have a full spectrum of acts to listen to this summer. So far, 13 acts have been booked at the Harvey's Outdoor Arena and MontBleu has 10 nights of music booked to date.

Jack Johnson adds second outdoor concert in South Lake Tahoe

Popular singer-songwriter Jack Johnson has added a second show on the South Shore as part of the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Music Series at the Harveys Arena. His special blend of music will now be featured on both July 28 and 29.
For the first time since 2014, Jack Johnson is taking his chart-topping catalog on the road for a North American summer tour with guests ALO. the end of his tour will be at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena. Tickets are $64.22 each and are currently on sale for his first show and they go on sale March 24, with presale options starting the previous day.
Lenny Kravitz latest act added to Lake Tahoe Outdoor Concert Series

South Lake Tahoe, Calif. - There are now eight nights of summer concerts scheduled for the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena. Lenny Kravitz is the latest to book and will head to the South Shore July 14 for an 8:00 p.m. show at the arena at Harveys. Pre-sale tickets go on sale March 22, general public sales March 24.
Kravitz will be one of two artists booked to perform on the outside stage during the annual American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in South Lake Tahoe July 11-16, 2017. Third Eye Blind plays after the final round.

Third Eye Blind will be celebrating their 20th Anniversary with Summer Gods Tour at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey's on July 16, 2017. This is the first concert announced for the popular summer concerts.
Their supporting act(s) have not been announced.
Third Eye Blind will, for the first time in their storied history, play their debut album, considered one of the great rock records of all time, in its entirety, as part of a night of music including their latest, We Are Drugs. They are touring 31 cities as part of the the tour.

The fourth season of Live at Lakeview begins on Thursday, June 25th with dual Lake Tahoe debut performances from the Bay Area's Raymond Victor Band and The Jonny Gold Trio from Davis, CA.
“A close family friend, who manages Big Brother & The Holding Company, recommended The Raymond Victor Band after I expressed our desire for that authentic Chicago Blues sound,” states Leslie Schultz of On Course Events. “ After hearing the grittiness in Raymond’s voice as he jams on the keys, we knew this was the perfect fit for Live at Lakeview!”

June 27, 2015 - 12:00pm The 3rd Annual Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel Outdoor Arena on Saturday, June 27. The concert is open to all ages and will feature Iration, Matisyahu, Don Carlos, The Green, The Expendables, Fortunate Youth, Vokab Kompany, Squarefield Massiv and more.
Advanced general admission tickets for the reggae festival are $45, VIP tickets are $90; and kids 12 and under are only $10, and kids under 6 are FREE. All tickets can be purchased on line.

Opinion: Tahoe Paradise Park meetings now orderly and focused

Gone was the yelling between board members. Gone was the yelling from the residents in the crowd. Gone was the uncomfortable feeling I had watching a Tahoe Paradise Resort Improvement District (TPRID) board meeting. Gone were the bullies. Gone were the mistruths.
Present was teamwork, respect, order, transparency and a general commitment to make the park a viable one that families, residents and visitors could enjoy.
New leadership for Lake Tahoe SummerFest

Brad Trexell, a former Opera Colorado and San Francisco Opera administrator was appointed executive director for Lake Tahoe SummerFest (www.tahoesummerfest.org), the classical music concert series in August.
