Jazz and Blues open up summer's Live at Lakeview concert series

Event Date:
June 25, 2015 - 6:00pm

The fourth season of Live at Lakeview begins on Thursday, June 25th with dual Lake Tahoe debut performances from the Bay Area's Raymond Victor Band and The Jonny Gold Trio from Davis, CA.

“A close family friend, who manages Big Brother & The Holding Company, recommended The Raymond Victor Band after I expressed our desire for that authentic Chicago Blues sound,” states Leslie Schultz of On Course Events. “ After hearing the grittiness in Raymond’s voice as he jams on the keys, we knew this was the perfect fit for Live at Lakeview!”

The Raymond Victor Band will headline the first show with soulful blues from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., after the Johnny Gold Trio performs one of the first jazz sets the venue has seen in a while.

Live at Lakeview is a free weekly concert series hosted at Lakeview Commons, in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. On every Thursday from June 25 to August 27, the event hosts live music and art on the beach, along with a variety of local merchants and delicious food options plus amphitheater style seating and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the beer garden. Proceeds from the beer
garden will benefit South Tahoe BMX, ultimately benefiting the Bijou Bike Park.

Parking is limited around the venue; however, a complimentary bike valet service is offered every Thursday evening. Biking and carpooling is strongly encouraged. Additional parking is available at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center located at 1601 Rufus Allen Blvd.
