Wine Walk kicks off Labor Day Weekend at Heavenly Village and South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - It is looked at as the end of summer. Labor Day Weekend is filled with holiday barbeques and picnics, and some last moments under the sun before the arrival of fall and winter.
Wine Walk at Heavenly Village a fundraiser for Christmas Cheer

On Thursday, May 24, Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe will be the seen of a charity wine walk from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
For $20, participants will go to participating stores and get a sample of wine from Carson Road Wineries of El Dorado County. Proceeds go to benefit Christmas Cheer, the year round charity that supplies food and other supplies to those in need.
There will also be food specials at the Village, along with a chance to win great prizes.
Stop by the booth in the middle of Heavenly Village to pay the fee and get your pass to a fun evening.

The next Shops at the Heavenly Village Wine Walk on Thursday, March 22, will be raising funds for Christmas Cheer All Year. It takes place at shops throughout the village from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sample wine crafted from Amador County, food specials, and chances to win great prizes at every location.
Check in at the tent in the center of the Village. Cost is $20 per person.
Successful Heavenly Wine Walk raises $4K for fire victims

The Heavenly Wine Walk in South Lake Tahoe Thursday sold out and ended up raising over $4,000 for victims and first responders of the recent Santa Rosa fires.
Dreu Murin Productions and Heavenly Village produced the wine walk which will become a quarterly event.
"Thank you to Liz at Pacific Crest Galley and Mike Owen and all the other Carson Road Wineries," said producer Dreu Murin. "It was a great night!"
New wineries and a new charity will be focused next time.

The Heavenly Village will have a Wine Walk on Thursday, November 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sample wines crafted and shared by the Carson Road Wineries (El Dorado County), food specials and chances to win great prizes at every location.
The cost is a $20 donation and all proceeds go directly to Santa Rosa area families and first responders who were affected by the recent wildfires.
Parking every night after 5:00 p.m. in the Heavenly Village parking garage is just $5 for the evening. The tent for the event is by the fountain and stop by for your tickets there.

The drinks will be Rum-based, the non-profit recipient will be Carson Valley Arts Council and the entertainment will be "Nigel St. Hubbins". Despite the power outages and high winds in the South Shore, the Marriott Grand Residence Club was warm and cozy (with power!) on Thursday night, which made it the perfect first stop for TahoeChamber’s annual Winter Wine Walk Business After Hours Mixer (BAHM!). Nearly 100 guests began their tours at the Marriott Grand Residence Club with a taste from Crystal Basin Cellars before embarking on a tour to participating businesses. Each shop welcomed attendees with food, drinks and raffle prizes. It was a fun, blustery night that included great food, wine and friends.

The Winter Wine Walk combines shopping and sipping for a delightful holiday experience! The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce is holding a holiday wine walk for their December After Hours Mixer. On Thursday, December 11, both members and non-members will get a passport and move from store to store at the Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe.
There will be El Dorado County wine as well as food at participating locations.
If participants find they have had too much to drink, free rides are being offered by Yellow Cab for all BAHM passport holders.

August 2, 2014 - 12:00pm The "Jazz & Beyond: Carson City Music Festival," in collaboration with Carson City, is proud to present five of several bands at the Nevada Sesquicentennial Fair in Fuji Park on Saturday, August 2. "Jazz & Beyond" runs from Aug. 1 to Aug. 17 and features over 50 events, mainly in the downtown Carson City area.
The five "Jazz & Beyond" bands at the Fair on August 2 are Sons of Slide Mountain, RVGS Tantalus, Lynne Colvig Latin Jazz, the Reno Jazz Orchestra with singer Jackie Landrum, and the St. Christopher Project, featuring the music of Tom Waits.

The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce is holding their annual Winter Wine Walk BAHM on Thursday, December 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Shops at Heavenly Village.
The walk starts at the Marriott Grand Residence where participants will receive a passport with a list of all businesses participating, a wristband, wine glass and raffle tickets. Participating businesses will then stamp the passport and pour a taste of El Dorado County wines as well as showcasing their store. Free ice skating voucher good for the whole evening.
