South Tahoe High students bring Disney's High School Musical to the stage

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Disney's smash hit movie comes to life on the South Tahoe High stage as the student thespians present their spring musical production June 9-11.

The high-energy "Disney's High School Musical" will feature the same songs and dances everyone has come to love on the big screen - "We're Breaking Free," "Stick To The Status Quo," and "We're All In This Together." Enjoy the singing and dancing you saw in the movie.

American Legion Summer Rummage Sale

The Stella Van Dyke Johnson American Legion Post 795 summer rummage sale is back! It begins at 10 a.m. starting on Sunday, June 12 and will be held daily through Thursday, June 16 until 5 p.m.

The American Legion Auxiliary has collected lots of stuff! Be sure to stop by and check out the bargains that include clothing, shoes, household items, jewelry, books, toys, and much more!

Need to get rid of some items? They will take donations of gently used items.

Comedian Jo Koy has announced his all-new Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour, and one of his stops will be at the Tahoe Blue Event Center on November 9, 2024. Pre-sale will begin Wednesday, May 8 at 12 p.m., and tickets go on sale Thursday, May 9 at 12 p.m. Ticket prices will range from $49 - $125 and will be available to purchase at: TahoeBlueEventCenter.com.

American Legion Post 795 hosts Veterans Day ceremony in South Lake Tahoe

The Veterans Day ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at the American Legion Hall, 2748 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe. Chuy’s Taco Truck along with light lunch refreshments and cake will be served.

Azul Latin Kitchen to host fundraiser for Bread & Broth

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Azul Latin Kitchen in Heavenly Village will host a taco buffet fundraiser on Tuesday, November 12, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to benefit Bread & Broth. A taco/nacho bar with tortillas, chips, salsa, guacamole, beans, rice, a variety ofmeat/vegetarian options, and various toppings will be available. The cost of the event is $20 for adults and $10 for kids, not including drinks.

All proceeds from the buffet and drink sales (including tips), a raffle, and a silent auction will be donated to Bread & Broth.
