Free Concert at the Hempen' Inn this Sunday

An outdoor free music concert is being held this Sunday, September 30 as a means to raise funds for Adam Rose. On August 21 of this year, Adam was riding his bicycle and was struck by an alleged drunk driver at 12th Street and Emerald Bay Road. He was care-flighted to Reno, was in critical condition for approximately two weeks and is now recuperating at home. Both Adam's arms and legs were broken and he is currently confined to a wheelchair. He faces over six months of rehabillitation. He will be present at the event.
"We have a very exciting line up musicians," says Robert Hart the musical director for the event, "including
Daughters in Arm, Full Watt Hi-Fi, Bond Collins, Michael Kessler, Ashleigh Minshall and the AR38 Band."

"It's a lovely venue and a great cause," says Don Regis-Bilar, the coordinator of the event. It has been seven years since Regis-Bilar has produced a special event in the community. "I know Adam personally and what happened to him could have happened to any of us who bicyle in the community."
The Hempen' Inn is an Eco-Friendly Property. Please walk, bike or carpool. Ample parking is available along
D Street and, courtesy of Lake Tahoe Pizza, its back overflow lot is available. Please bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs and snacks. Beverages will be available. Volunteers and silent auction items are sought.
