ZEPHYR COVE, Nev. - The Parents’ Club of Zephyr Cove Elementary School is holding “A Night In Tahoe” catered fundraiser on Tuesday, March 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Tahoe Blue Estate.

The beautiful estate is being donated as well as the amazing catering skills of Bella Tahoe for the event.

Complimentary shuttle service to the home will be provided to and from the Heavenly Mountain Resort's Boulder Lodge parking lot. The Parents’ Club invites the community to this fun-filled evening to support ZCES.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There will be a benefit for long-time local musician “Tahoe’s Bassman” Charlie Schofield on February 26 at McP's Taphouse and Grill, 4125 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, California.

Local musicians are banding together to help raise money for the Scofield family, including Trey Stone, Niall McGuinness, Uncle Funkle, Jess Kalin, Steve Walker, and many others. The MC for the evening is comedian and radio personality Howie Nave.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Tahoe Arts Project will be the beneficiary of Azul Latin Kitchen's Tacos for TAP on Monday, December 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

There will be an "All You Can Eat Taco Bar," live music, a silent auction and a performance by the Marcia Sarosik Dancers. All of this for just $15 for each adult and $5 for kids under 12.

Tickets will be sold at the door.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The 2nd annual Reef’s Run for Hydrocephalus Awareness will be held at Round Hill Pines Resort on Sunday, September 8 at 8:30 a.m.

The run is in support of Reef Woldt, a three-year-old South Lake Tahoe boy with hydrocephalus, and all others will the condition that affects more than one million Americans.

A record 246 people participated in the 36th Tahoe Tennis Classic at Zephyr Cove Park this past weekend. The four-day annual event brought people from throughout the United States to our area for competitive and fun tennis.

The tournament is the biggest fundraiser for the Zephyr Cove Tennis Club Foundation. The nonprofit, all-volunteer organization has a contract with Douglas County to operate the six courts. Responsibilities include resurfacing the courts, managing play, and providing instruction for all ages and abilities.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Bread & Broth is putting the "fun" back into fundraising and bringing back their unique Burlap & Denim BBQ and Ranch Tour on Saturday, August 24 from noon to 4:00 p.m.

STATELINE, Nev. - Join the community at Kahle Community Park on Kingsbury Grade in Stateline on Monday, June 24 for the annual METAvivor Benefit Concert from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Local musicians Ike & Martin and Carolyn Dolan are donating their time to help raise funds for METAvivor, the only cancer charity in which 100 percent of all money raised goes directly to cancer research.

The benefit concert is on the lawn at Kahle so bring lawn chairs and beverages (no glass containers allowed). There will be finger food and desserts served.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A family friendly event has been planned by the Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless at their Tahoe Beach Bash on Saturday, July 20 from noon - 4:00 p.m.

This year’s event is being held at The Beach Retreat and Lodge located at 3411 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe. The Beach Bash includes live music, beachside barbecue, silent auction, games, a bounce house, face painting, beautiful lake views, beer and wine tasting, Homebrew for the Homeless’s home-brewed beer contest, and more.

The school's Alpine Ski Team is showing the film as their annual movie night fundraiser. Tickets are $15 and available from any ski team member, Coach Ms. Bedwell, or at the door. The South Shore community is coming together on November 14 at Hard Rock Lake Tahoe's Vinyl for musician Trey Stone who is now in end stage kidney failure. Stone's friends in the musical word are donating their talent for a one night event to support his efforts to heal, get on dialysis and eventually get a kidney transplant.

Tickets are $20 and there will be raffles and a silent auction.

All proceeds will go to healing Trey and helping him continue gracing the world with his talent.
